Here we go again!

It's official...baby #2 will arrive August 2nd (likely before)! We found out we were pregnant before Thanksgiving...and somehow I kept it from my parents until Christmas. It was difficult to keep a secret, but worth seeing their reaction in person!

Baby Hanson 9wks, 5 days



I'm just about 10 wks along...early on in the pregnancy, but today I had an ultrasound and the baby is looking great! It was moving around like crazy which was so great to see :)

Steve and I plan on finding out what we're having (probably in March)....we just can't help but plan, plan, plan!!

It's funny because when I was pregnant with Paige, I knew from the moment I was pregnant that it was a girl...I just had this feeling. With this pregnancy, I don't have that feeling...I would love a boy, but Paige would also love a baby sister :) We talk about the baby all the time and of course she thinks she has a baby in her tummy too...and she thinks dad is pregnant also :)

Back Home Again in Indiana..lalalalala

I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas! I know our family did. Friday we flew down to Indiana to visit my mom, dad, sister and her family. Paige hasn't seen her cousin Warren since June, so they caught up...and quick! Only a few "mines" here and there...but that's the age right? They held hands in the airport...made quite the scene. So cute :)



Paige also wasted no time running to her Papa...she talks about him non-stop!



Saturday night my sister pulled up the Santa Tracker online and Paige could not get enough! Everytime she would see santa she would get so excited...this is the reaction we would get!

 

We had such a relaxing time...the only downer was Paige got a cold half-way through our visit and the coughing began. Everytime she gets a cold the coughing seems to never end. In fact on our flight home from Evansville to Chicago the coughing turned into vomiting :)....which is great when you're flying over Lake Michigan!! We made it home safe and sound...but not without a few tears.

On another note...I love how I promise these blog updates and then totally FORGET! I guess that's life. But I will try my best to write something weekly!!

We celebrate with Steve's family this weekend...and I'm sure Paige will love all of the presents. She's really getting the hang of ripping paper :) I guess it's a good thing her birthday is only a few short months away!

Welcome Back!

Our New House!! 10/11/11

It's been over a year since I sat down at a computer and blogged....and to tell you the truth, it feels pretty good! My first blog, Baby Bump & Beyond was a way to reach out to family and friends near and far. This blog, well it's the same idea...but I hope to blog A LOT more. We'll see how that goes. :)

First things first...in case I draw in some new followers, allow me to introduce the Hansons. We are a family of 3, living in Cottage Grove, Minnesota.

We love being Minnesotans - making the trek from South Dakota a mere 6 months ago. I am a producer at Twin Cities Live and love every second of it. My husband, Steve, is in sales....and seriously could sell something to a wall!

My Snow Baby

Our little Hanson is Paige and she's the light of our life. You'll probably find quite a few blogs about her, but when you're a mom...your kids are hard to ignore! We recently had our first winter snow in Minnesota and all she kept saying was "ooooooo noooo". The white stuff makes her shrill :) And I love it.

I hope everyones holiday season is starting off on the right food and we're all remembering the reason for the season :) Stay tuned for more....from HELLO HANSON (said in whichever accent you choose!)
